Coeur de Megève
A contemporary mountain lodge.
Nestled in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps, in the shadow of Mont Blanc, Megève has been attracting the skiing elite for almost a century. On the main pedestrian street, meters away from the church square and the ski lift, the iconic hotel Coeur de Megève has been given a second lease of life by famed interior designer Sybille de Margerie. Reimagining the original ski chalet, de Margerie designed a contemporary mountain lodge made of brushed walnut panelling, soft furnishings and vibrant colours.
Very warm atmosphere.
Its 39 rooms and suites come in different shapes and sizes; some have open-plan bathrooms, others come with terraces overlooking the village, while family rooms sit up in the attic beneath the sloping ceiling.
Friendly cuisine & timeless recipes.
The restaurant La Muse is one of Megève’s most popular restaurants for locals and travellers alike. Open on the busy pedestrian street on one side and overlooking the Planay torrent on the other, meals take place in cocooning booths or on a beautiful communal table carved from the trunk of a single tree.
The restaurant opens up on a large sunbathed terrace where guests can also enjoy creations of the adjacent cocktail bar in the evening.
Après-ski ambiance.
A well-kept secret of hotel guests, the lounge, with its central fireplace, is an intimate and cosy place to spend the last hours of the day. Sit comfortably around the fireplace or enjoy the view of the mountain stream and the liveliness of the village.
The quintessence of well-being.
The spa is an intimate and relaxing place, the result of a unique collaboration with Tata Harper, a true pioneer of the green movement in the world of cosmetics. The quintessence of well-being, it houses two treatment cabins (which can be transformed into a double cabin for duo treatments), a sensory shower, a sauna, a nail bar and a herbal tea bar.
