Gstaad Palace opened its doors for the first time in 1913 and is now run by the third generation of the Scherz family.

From the very start, the hotel became an icon of the Saanenland and has more than hundred years of traditional history; it welcomed prominent entertainers and renowned stars such as Louis Armstrong, Marlene Dietrich, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and many more.
