Steeped in history & culture.

Ideally located a few steps from St. Mark’s Square and the famous Palazzo Ducale in the very heart of Venice, Baglioni Hotel Luna is the most ancient historic Venetian hotel dating back to the 12th Century and it is recorded as having given shelter to the Knights Templar in 1118. In 1574 it was already known as Locanda della Luna.

A timeless journey through art.

During the 18th Century the building was decorated with frescoes by Pupils of Giambattista Tiepolo, which now adorn the sumptuous Marco Polo Ballroom, where breakfast is served. A private landing stage allows guests to arrive straight to the hotel’s elegant entrance by gondolas or water taxi.
